Privacy policy
This policy explains how Blitz Learning Technologies Pvt. Ltd. (“Blitz Learning”, “we”, “us”) handles personal data collected through this website. It covers visitors to the site and people who request a demo, contact us or start a free trial here.
It does not cover data that our customers put into the BlitzLIS platform itself. That data is processed on behalf of each customer under our customer agreement and data processing terms. If you are a learner or user on a BlitzLIS academy, please contact the organisation that runs that academy.
1. Who is responsible for your data
Blitz Learning Technologies Pvt. Ltd. is the data controller (a “data fiduciary” under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023) for personal data collected through this website.
- Office address
- 101/D-30, 1st Floor, Siddharth Complex, Laxmi Nagar, New Delhi 110092, India

2. What we collect
When you request a demo or contact us
- Your name, work email and organisation
- Your role and area of interest, if you provide them
- Anything you write in the message field
- Your consent choice, the date and time of the request, your IP address and your browser’s user-agent string (used to prevent spam and abuse)
When you start a free trial
- Your work email, first and last name, organisation, country and phone number
- The password you create. This website stores the password only in hashed form (scrypt), never as readable text
- Your agreement to our terms and this policy, with the date and time, your IP address and browser user-agent string
- When you confirmed your email address, and when your trial ends
We use these details to verify your email, set up and run your trial workspace, and contact you about your trial.
When you browse the site
Our web server keeps standard access logs: IP address, date and time, the page requested, referring page and browser user-agent. We use these logs to keep the site secure and working.
Ask BlitzLIS, the website assistant
Ask BlitzLIS answers questions using the content of this website. It runs in your browser: the questions you type are not sent to us or stored by us. If you turn on spoken answers, your browser reads them aloud using its own speech feature.
If you use the microphone button, your browser converts your speech to text. Some browsers do this through an online service run by the browser maker. For example, Google Chrome sends the audio to Google’s servers. That processing is governed by your browser maker’s privacy policy, not ours. You can always type instead.
Currency conversion on the pricing page
Prices and invoices are in US dollars. To show them in another currency, our server refreshes the exchange rates from ExchangeRate-API about twice a day. Your visit is not shared with them. If our server can’t provide the rates, your browser asks ExchangeRate-API for them directly, which shares your IP address with that service. The pricing page remembers the currency you chose in your browser’s local storage.
Cookies and tracking
Our cookie policy lists everything this website stores in your browser.
This website does not set cookies for visitors and does not use analytics, advertising or social-media tracking tools. Fonts and images are served from our own server. Ask BlitzLIS remembers whether you turned on spoken answers, and whether it has already greeted you, in your browser’s local storage; this never leaves your device. Our website administrators receive a strictly necessary sign-in cookie when they log in to the admin area. If we add analytics or similar tools in future, we will update this policy and, where the law requires it, ask for your consent first.
3. Why we use it, and on what basis
| Purpose | Legal basis |
|---|---|
| Responding to your demo request or enquiry, and following up about BlitzLIS | Your consent, given when you tick the box on the form |
| Verifying your email, setting up your trial and contacting you about it | Taking steps at your request before entering into a contract (GDPR); your consent under the DPDP Act |
| Preventing spam, fraud and abuse of the form | Our legitimate interest in keeping the site secure (GDPR); a legitimate use under the DPDP Act |
| Running and securing the website (server logs) | Our legitimate interest in operating a secure website |
| Meeting legal obligations | Compliance with applicable law |
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for automated decision-making that has legal or similar effects on you.
4. Who we share it with
We share personal data only with service providers that help us run this website and respond to you, and only as far as they need it:
- Website hosting: Hostinger, India
- Email delivery for form notifications: Hostinger, India
We may also disclose data where the law requires it, or to protect our rights, users or the public.
5. International transfers
Blitz Learning is based in India, and your data may be processed in India and in the countries where our service providers operate. If you are in the European Economic Area, the UK or Switzerland, we protect transfers outside those regions with appropriate safeguards, such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses.
6. How long we keep it
- Free-trial sign-ups: 3 months after the trial ends, unless you become a customer or ask us to delete them sooner. Unconfirmed sign-ups: 30 days
- Demo requests and enquiries: 3 months after our last contact, unless you become a customer or ask us to delete them sooner
- Server access logs: 90 days
7. How we protect it
The site is served over HTTPS. Form submissions are stored on our server with restricted access, and only the staff who handle enquiries and set up trial workspaces can read them.
8. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you can ask us to:
- Tell you what personal data we hold about you and give you a copy
- Correct, complete or update it
- Delete it
- Restrict or object to how we use it
- Move it to another provider (data portability)
- Nominate another person to exercise your rights if you die or become incapacitated (India)
Where we rely on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time by emailing compliance@blitzlis.com. Withdrawing consent does not affect anything we did before you withdrew it.
To exercise any of these rights, email compliance@blitzlis.com. We may need to verify your identity before we respond.
If you are not satisfied with our response, you can write to us again at compliance@blitzlis.com. You also have the right to complain to the Data Protection Board of India or, in the EU, to your local data protection authority.
9. Children
This website is meant for organisations and their professional staff. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children through it.
10. Changes to this policy
We will post any changes on this page and update the “Last updated” date above.
